Nashville’s Premier Leadership Conference for Young Professionals


This 3-day event, from the evening of Thursday, March 21 to the morning of Saturday, March 23, combines high-level professional development, civic and philanthropic engagement, and serious fun with the NJC’s signature style.

Attendees have the opportunity to learn from well-known community leaders, expand their network with fellow attendees, and collaborate with others to do good in the community.

What to Expect?

  • Nashville young professionals will leave the NJC Leadership Conference with new personal and professional techniques to take their careers to the next level.

  • Attendees will be able to learn about past and present initiatives to advocate for positive changes in the community.

  • There is no shortage of non-profits in Nashville ready to meet the needs of the community. This conference will educate attendees on ways they can give back to the community and the organizations available to help at. Saturday will feature a hands-on volunteer opportunity at a local nonprofit with a small group from the conference.

  • While knowledge is power, it never hurts “to know someone.” The NJC Leadership Conference will have multiple opportunities for young professionals to build their networks and have a chance to connect with seasoned Nashville leaders.


Thursday Night Programming — Pitch!

Join us for our reimagined Pitch Nashville event from 5:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The evening will begin with a networking cocktail hour with young professionals dedicated to making Nashville the best it can be, followed by a seated dinner and presentations from our Pitch presenters, which include — Metro Council Member Burkley Allen, Alisha Haddock from the Housing Fund, Housing NOW Nashville, and more. Attendees will leave the event with a more well-rounded understanding of why affordable housing is essential for our city to address and how they can get involved as young professionals and future community leaders.
