Scott Moore is the CEO and Founder of Maple Street Biscuit Company. Nine years ago he lost his job at a Fortune 100 company with a private equity buyout. Taking his next step, he opened a restaurant even though he had no culinary background. In these few short years, Maple Street has grown from that first Community Store to 41 Community Stores throughout the southeast. A year ago, they were acquired for $36 million and yet nothing has changed with Maple Street’s mission.
