Michael Burcham is an Executive Partner at Shore Capital Partners. There he leads strategic planning for Shore’s portfolio organizations as well as serving as lead director for a select group of firms. Burcham also serves on the faculty at Vanderbilt University where he has held a position since 2007. There he teaches Healthcare Innovation and Launching New Ventures at the Owen Graduate School of Management.

Prior to joining Shore, Michael was founder and CEO of Narus Health - a healthcare organization created in 2015 whose care management services and technologies supported individuals with serious medical conditions, their families, and the medical community engaged in their treatment. Narus became part of Lucent Health in 2019.

He was also the founding President & CEO of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center - an innovation center helping launch new healthcare and technology businesses that has been recognized nationally as one of the country's leading startup organizations. He served in that role from 2010 - 2015. During that time, he was recognized by President Obama as a National Champion of Change for the business growth and mentorship programs he developed.

Michael is an avid writer and a frequent national speaker on becoming a leader, leading in difficult times, entrepreneurial thinking, personal self-development, and healthcare strategy.
