Taylor assumed office on September 28, 2019, and his current term ends in 2023. Professionally, Taylor works to serve underrepresented communities through fundraising for The Boys Scouts of America, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and Meharry Medical College. He currently works as the Director of Major Gifts for Nashville Rescue Mission. He's also a member of the board of directors for Nashville Emerging Leaders and Friends of Hubbard House — the home of the first president of Meharry Medical College, Dr. George Hubbard.
