Bruce began his career with Roberts Express, the forerunner to FedEx Custom Critical, as Director of Sales when he joined entrepreneur and friend William Blodgett with a plan for same day/next day dedicated expedited service. In 1984 Roberts became part of Roadway Services. Bruce became V.P. that year and CEO in 1987. An explosive need for this unique network service stimulated Roberts Express to the top 100 growth companies in 1988. Service was also expanded for time-sensitive care and handling of high value products. Underlying the continuing expansion of Roberts Express were system and satellite communications, a customer obsessed culture, and executed quality service.

Bruce will discuss what it takes to build and grow a successful company. He will focus on company culture, values, market sizing, leadership, sales, and operations. He will also discuss his background and what led him to his success.
