April Monthly Membership Meeting

Join us on April 25th for our Monthly Membership Meeting. Casey Mulligan, VP of Membership, will host a discussion with Mark Deutschmann on sustainability and living the "One-Mile Radius."

We will come together at 1212 Germantown to mix, mingle, and hear from our special speaker. Members are highly encouraged to attend to hear what the NJC has accomplished in the last month and guests are welcome to come and learn more.

Networking will be from 5:30-6 p.m. and the conversation will begin at 6 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Street parking is available as are a few spaces behind the venue (first come, first serve).

Mark Deutschmann is an entrepreneur, CEO, author and community builder who has worked with neighbors, city leaders and social profits for 35-plus years while helping shape development in Nashville and revitalizing the city’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

He is founder and chair emeritus of Village Real Estate Services, a company he started in 1996 and sold in January 2019. In 2003, he launched Core Development Services, a company actively developing Nashville’s urban center with adaptive reuse and mixed-use infill development, and in 2005, he founded The CityLiving Group, to help developers manage risk with multi-family residential sales strategy. Village Fund and CoreFund, both started by Deutschmann, have provided millions in grants to social profits helping to enrich and strengthen Nashville.

Ever engaged in the community, Deutschmann is past chair for the Urban Land Institute Nashville and past president of Greenways for Nashville. He has been honored numerous times as a Power 100 leader in Commercial Real Estate. Deutschmann is the author of One-Mile Radius – Building Community from the Core. He holds undergraduate degrees in zoology and Spanish and an MBA in international management. He is married to fellow entrepreneur/community leader Sherry Deutschmann.
