Maria leads Public Policy efforts on behalf of Amazon Web Services, Amazon’s cloud computing business, across the Southeast. Since joining Amazon in 2016, Maria has held a variety of public policy based roles, including Policy Counsel for the Americas and Policy Counsel to the AWS Global Vice President of Public Policy. She also worked as a Senior Policy Analyst with Deloitte Government Relations and spent time at the New America Foundation, a DC based think tank.

Maria is a graduate of Virginia Tech, and she received her JD from George Mason University Scalia Law School. She is a member of the New York State Bar.
