Jennifer Turner is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Tennessee Performing Arts Center®, a Nashville-based nonprofit arts organization dedicated to excellence in the performing arts and arts education. Since 1980, TPAC® has welcomed more than 14 million audience members and served more than 2 million students, teachers, and adults with performances, teacher resources, professional development, classroom residencies, and enrichment programs. Formerly, Turner served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Segerstrom Center for the Arts, an acclaimed arts institution in Southern California, where she built a world-class leadership team, led innovative community initiatives, and spearheaded multi-million-dollar capital development projects, including the successful completion of the 56,000 square foot Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. With more than 20 years of experience in nonprofits arts, Turner previously was the Chief Operating Officer for the national historic landmark Auditorium Theatre in Chicago and held roles with Michigan Opera Theatre and Shakespeare Theatre Company. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds a graduate degree from Roosevelt University in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management.
