Nashville Rain Garden Maintenance and Construction.

We will be gardening and digging to construct and or maintain bioretention builds at Hunters Lane High School. This will be a fun day of fresh air and giving back to our community.

Volunteers will help maintain a rain garden, getting it it tip top shape to help capture and filter stormwater runoff. Long term maintenance is an integral part of our rain garden program to ensure rain gardens continue to function properly.

Volunteers should anticipate digging, spreading mulch, pruning, and weeding. They will provide all tools and gloves. Volunteers should bring water, snacks, and optionally their own pair of gloves if they have them.
