Join us on February 28th for our Monthly Membership Meeting. This month's topic: Strategic Thinking - How to Make Your Next Step Matter with Michael Burcham.
We will come together at 1212 Germantown to mix, mingle, and hear from our special speaker. Members are highly encouraged to attend to hear what the NJC has accomplished in the last month and guests are welcome to come and learn more.
Networking will be from 5:30-6 p.m. and the conversation will begin at 6 p.m. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Street parking is available as are a few spaces behind the venue (first come, first serve).
Michael Burcham, is an entrepreneur, investor and healthcare strategist with 30 years' experience leading healthcare organizations. He is an Executive Partner with Shore Capital where he leads strategic planning for Shore's portfolio companies as well as Talent Development. He also serves on the Board of Directors for four of Shore’s companies and directs Shore University - the firm’s talent development program. Michael is also a professor at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management and serves as faculty director of Vanderbilt's Center for Entrepreneurship.
Michael has done much throughout his career including serve as the Founder and CEO of Narus Health, serve as the President and CEO of the Nashville Entrepreneurship Center, serve as the Co-Chair of the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, serve as the President of ParadigmHealth, and serve as the President and Founder of Theraphysics.
Michael graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1983. He holds an MBA from Belmont University and a Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Michael has been named Nashvillian of the Year and Tennessean of the Year and regularly speaks nationally on innovation, entrepreneurship and strategy. The Nashville Junior Chamber is honored to welcome him to speak with us.
